Terms of Sale and Use

These terms govern your purchase and use of LocalASO (the “Software”) and this website. By buying or using the Software you accept them.

1. What you buy

A one-time license for $29 USD to use the Software on one Mac, for as long as the Software is offered. Updates are included as described on the pricing page and in section 7. The download is free; the Software needs a valid license key to run.

2. License scope

• One license key is for one Mac, and one activation at a time.
• The license is personal and non-transferable. You may move it to another Mac only by deactivating the first one in the license portal (limited to 3 deactivations in 12 months).
• You may not reverse engineer, decompile, resell, sublicense, share or publish the Software or your key, and may not bypass the license check.

3. All sales are final

All sales are final. No refunds. See the refund page. Statutory rights that cannot be excluded by contract remain unaffected.

4. Estimates, no guarantee

Volume, difficulty, reach and similar values are estimates derived from public data. They are not Apple search counts. We do not guarantee any ranking, download numbers or revenue, or that Apple accepts any text you upload.

5. Third-party services

The Software works with services you choose, such as Apple (App Store, App Store Connect) and AI providers. You are responsible for your accounts, keys, costs and for following their terms. We are not affiliated with Apple Inc. and are not responsible for these services.

6. Suspension, deactivation and revocation

We may suspend, restrict, deactivate or revoke a license key at any time if we suspect abuse or unusual activity. Examples are key sharing or resale, excessive activations, fraud, chargebacks, attempts to circumvent the license check, reverse engineering, and automated abuse of the license servers. A license that was refunded, charged back or disputed is revoked. Refunds are given only where required by law.

7. Updates and availability

We release updates at our own discretion. We do not guarantee updates, continued maintenance or support for any period. We do not guarantee that the Software stays compatible with future versions of macOS, with changes to Apple’s App Store or iTunes Search API, or with third-party AI tools. Data shown, such as ranks, volume and difficulty, are estimates.

8. Taxes

The seller is not registered for VAT. Prices do not include VAT and no VAT is charged. If import taxes or similar charges apply in your country, you are responsible for them.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Software is provided “as is” and “as available”, and we are liable only for intent and gross negligence, and for harm to life, body or health, and where mandatory law requires. Our total liability for other claims is limited to the price you paid. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules and the UN Sales Convention. Place of jurisdiction: TODO_SET_ME. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
