Activate your license

Enter your key, move to another Mac, and what happens offline.

Activate

After purchase your key is shown on the confirmation page and emailed to you. It looks like XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX. Start LocalASO, paste the key on the activation screen and click Activate. The app contacts our server once and stores a signed token on your Mac.

A key works on one Mac. It can be redeemed once.

Offline use

The app re-checks your license about every 7 days when you are online, and keeps working offline for up to 60 days after the last successful check. Being unlicensed never deletes or hides your data; it only locks features.

Move to another Mac

Open the license portal, enter your key and click “Deactivate this Mac”. Then activate on the new Mac. You can deactivate 3 times per 12 months.

Lost your key

Enter your purchase email under “Lost your key” in the license portal. Still stuck? Write to support@localaso.com.
