Demand is high across the board: the category's mean estimated volume is 55.2, fourth among the 26 (the median category is 44.5), and the lowest single-phrase mean volume in the table is 44.2. Everything here is popular. The soft spots are "logo maker" (29.0) and "sticker maker" (33.0), and the latter is an outlier in Japan (volume 29, difficulty 6) and Brazil (volume 68, difficulty 48) on the same phrase.

| US results with Graphics & Design as primary genre | 41.7% | 68.6% (US, all categories) |
Names here run longer than average and 72% sit between 25 and 30 characters, close to Apple's 30-character name limit. Together with the exact-title share this looks like a market where the name is used as a keyword container ("tool" plus function). That is a description of the visible apps, not proof that the wording is why they rank.
The genre match is low. Our phrase-to-category mapping is approximate (68.6% of US results matched across the whole study), and Graphics & Design is one of the weakest matches: in the US, 41.7% of results carried the Graphics & Design genre. That is a reminder to check which category the apps for your phrase actually sit in before you follow their lead.
Practical reading
- Treat the name as the main keyword slot. If most competitors spell out "logo maker" or "collage maker", a name that does not may be at a disadvantage, but also check the 30-character limit and how readable it looks. See app name keyword strategy.
- Then avoid wasting bytes elsewhere. Words already in your name are covered; Apple advises not repeating words from the name, subtitle or category in the keyword field. Read repeat words in title and subtitle for what that frees.
- Find the softest function. Start with "logo maker" and "sticker maker", then test narrower forms of your own feature (not "design" but the actual output a user wants).
- Mind the category fit. Apple's Guideline 2.3.5 asks for the most appropriate category. If your tool is mostly for photos, Photo & Video may be the honest category; for organisation-style tools look at Productivity and, for small single-purpose tools, Utilities.
